This song hails from Claptons Backless album and was released as a single back in 1978 where it reached a #9 position in the US.



The Chords
A pretty simple song chord wise using on the G, C, D, D7, Am and a partial B Chord.

Strumming Pattern
The pattern here is to play the note of the chord ... and then do an up down up strum on the chord itself. If you do this slowly you'll see what I mean. I like to use bass notes sometimes so the pattern becomes:

- Note Of The Chord
- Up Dn Up (strumming of the chord itself .. say the G Chord)
- Bass Note Of The Chord (in this case with s G the bass note is the open D string)
- Up Dn Up ... and so on.

But I use a double downstroke on the root note of the chord. Its a quick doublestroke but it fills in nicely. See the video demo.
