2. Boulevard Of Broken Dreams
Boulevard Of Broken Dreams was named after a James Dean painting and was written by Billy Joe Armstrong in his son's bedroom. The chord progression is similar to Wonderwall by Oasis. The single was released late in 2004 from the "American Idiot" album and peaked at #2.

3. Time Of Your Life
Billy Joe Armstrong actually wrote this song in 1990 but kept if from the other band members for several years. Even then it still took until the release of the Nimrod album in 1997 before they cut the song and then released it as a single. It peaked at #2 in the US and Australia.

4. Wake Me Up When September Ends
From the "American Idiot" album of 2005, Wake Me Up When Sept Ends was a huge hit for Green Day in many countries and hit #1 in Canada. The song also became an anthem of sorts for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
