Bruce Springsteen released a series of songs in 2006 called The Seeger Sessions. The song Erie Canal
was on that album but was not written by Pete Seeger. The song was written in 1905 after barge mule traffic
was concerted to engine traffic. Many folk artists have recorded this song.
