This song dates all the way back to 1931. But in 1972, Cat Stevens made it his own and took the song to #1 on the easy listening chart. Luckily for Stevens, he heard Rick Wakeman playing a piece of music that Wakeman was going to record but was persuaded to use the parts for Morning Has Broken.
