In his short recording career, the Buddy Holly Discography only amounted to three Buddy Holly albums starting with "The Chirping Crickets"
in 1957 and "Buddy Holly" and "Thatll Be The Day" both in 1958, which was 10 months before Holly's death in Feb 1959.
But between all of the material that Buddy Holly recorded that was never released, there has been additional material that was released
long after his death.
There was quite a battle between a master engineer at MCA records and MCA itself for rights to the Buddy Holly collection. Apparently this engineer had stolen many tracks recorded
by Holly (60+) from MCA and then had overdubs created to clean up and fill in poor original recordings from those early years.
So you'll often find many different versions of the same songs on the market.
The Official Holly Discography
1.The Chirping Crickets Rel: Nov, 1957

Below I've added a few other Buddy Holly music selections such as a few DVD's as well as a few other items including a boxed set of the
original three albums in a set. There have been numerous compilations, but with a limited number of songs recorded, I havent bothered put
those in the carousel below.
Paul McCartney Singing Peggy Sue
As is often said, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery ... and Sir Paul McCartney surely must feel that credit must be given where
credit is due by singing this classic by Buddy Holly.
