This song Against The Wind was written by Bob Seger and was a single from the album of the same name. Glen Frey of The Eagles
sang background vocals on this track and Seger managed to take the song all the way to #5 on Billboard back in the summer of 1980.
Seger said the songs inspiration came as a result of being a high school cross country runner. The song was featured in two movies,
"For the Love of the Game" and "Forrest Gump" and was also covered by The Highwaymen and Brooks And Dunn.
